Coal cutter picks are also called coal mining teeth or mining picks. Picks body is produced by warm extrusion technology. Warm extrusion technology is the temperature extrusion molding material pressure under teh metal recrystallization temperature, molding temperature is about 600-800 degree Celsius. Among this range metal can not produce some forging defects such as oxidation and grain growth, etc; metal can recrystallize during the deformation as the part of the mormalizing process, thus can significantily improve the microstructure of the teeth, and grain refining to improve picks toughness.

Tydrillbits coal cutting teeth choose high strength, high wear resistant alloy steel as the teeth body. Picks head adopt isothermal quenching process, the hardness is not reduced. We can add welding wear-resistant layer to the picks head and the hardness can reach to 65 degree Celsius as client's requirement, we can aslo provide mining picks with PDC inserts.
