Quick description of tungsten carbide tips road milling bits
Road milling bits are sometimes named round shank road milling bits. They are made by tungsten carbide tips and steel round shank body. W6/20 bit is named as Wirtgen brand and RP18 bit is named as Kennametal. They are all used in asphalt road milling and suitable for small road milling machine.
Main difference bettween W6/20 bit and RP18 bit is the difference of the carbide, please look the following picture.
